Edmond joined Whitelaw Twining in 2020 as an associate in the litigation group. Prior to joining the firm, he articled at a leading national Canadian law firm and clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Before becoming a lawyer, Edmond practiced as a mechanical engineer in Alberta and aims to take an innovative approach to tackling challenging legal problems. He is always looking for ways to integrate his background into providing an effective an results-oriented approach for his clients.
Edmond’s experience includes representing clients in business disputes, employment disputes, real estate disputes, insurance coverage cases, class actions, environmental regulatory issues, and international commercial arbitrations. During law school, he was awarded the Harper Grey Scholarship in Law and Medicine and was a member of the Oxford Intellectual Property Moot Team.
In addition to English, Edmond speaks Mandarin Chinese and is attempting to learn French.
In his free time, Edmond enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking, skiing, biking and off-roading. He is also a foodie and an avid trivia buff.
