Laura joined Whitelaw Twining in 2018, coming from a background in insurance defense litigation. In her practice, Laura has developed experience dealing with professional, product, and institutional liability; personal torts including assault and defamation; breach of privacy; coverage disputes and complex insurance issues; and defense of professionals before of regulatory and administrative bodies. Her curiosity and passion for the law keeps her up-to-date with emerging legal areas and developments, while her focus on excellence drives her to continually seek to innovate and improve on her legal practice and service to clients.
Laura’s pragmatic and inventive approach has enabled assist clients with the resolution of matters before various levels of court, a number of administrative and regulatory bodies, as well as through negotiation, mediation, and other facilitated settlement procedures.
Outside of the office, Laura enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking with her dog Noodle, and bicycling the seawall.
