Lisa first joined Whitelaw Twining as a summer Articling Student in 2016 and subsequently completed her Articles at the firm in 2018. After a year of practicing at another Vancouver personal injury firm, she returned to our Team in 2019. Lisa’s practice focuses exclusively on plaintiff personal injury claims. She has extensive experience representing individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents.
Lisa is a passionate advocate. She dedicates her practice to supporting clients step-by-step through the litigation process and has the ability to build genuine relationships with her clients. With their best interest in mind, Lisa ensures our clients receive fair compensation for their injuries through negotiated settlements or trials.
Community engagement has always been important to Lisa. While at law school, Lisa participated in the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic at the University of British Columbia, providing pro bono legal representation and promoting access to justice.
Prior to her legal career, Lisa studied and worked in pharmacology research and development. Her academic work has been featured in well-respected academic journals.
Lisa is fluent in Chinese. Her multicultural background and upbringing enables her to adopt a culturally sensitive approach to resolving legal disputes.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and exploring nature and outdoors.
