Megan joined Whitelaw Twining as an associate in 2019 after having completed her articles at a prominent downtown Vancouver litigation boutique. Megan practices general insurance and corporate commercial litigation. She has appeared on behalf of clients at both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Megan is known as a passionate advocate and an effective communicator. She believes that proper advocacy requires the development of strong relationships where clients feel empowered to participate in their own litigation process. Megan is not afraid to seek creative or alternative solutions that will best fit her client’s needs in an efficient manner.
Megan is also involved in raising awareness about health and wellness, spending her time in law school as the Chair of the UVic Law Wellness Volunteers for two years, and as the Law Students’ Society’s Health and Wellness Representative in her second year. In her spare time Megan competes on a competitive women’s curling team, and enjoys developing and giving back to the sport where she can.
