Tait Copeland

Profile

Tait joined Whitelaw Twining in 2025. Tait previously practiced and articled at a national Indigenous law firm in Calgary and throughout Saskatchewan. Tait was called to the Alberta Bar in 2024.

Tait received his JD from the University of Alberta in 2023. During law school, Tait volunteered with Student Legal Services. Prior to law school, Tait completed a Bachelor of Arts in History at Acadia University focusing on Medieval Studies and American Socio-Political Movements of the 1950s-70s.

Outside of work, Tait enjoys cooking, going to the gym, golfing, and skiing. Tait also enjoys spending time with his friends and family, travelling, reading, and fishing as often as he can.
