Student Program

Thank you for visiting the Whitelaw Twining student page – we are delighted that you are seeking further information about our articling and summer programs. We understand that the decision of which firm you will complete your articles with is one that requires careful thought and consideration as it truly sets the stage for your legal career. As such, we are happy to provide you with answers to the questions that often arise throughout the process to help you decide if Whitelaw Twining is the right firm for you.

At Whitelaw Twining our strength is our people.  We offer the dynamic, cutting edge work experience of a large firm in an open, team-centered and fun work environment. We are looking for smart, hard-working, client-focused students to join our team and become key parts of our collective future.

Our student program provides summer and articled students with hands-on exposure to the firm, our practice areas and our clients.  Working with both a Principal and Mentor, our students are provided the necessary support, guidance and encouragement to explore their interests, develop top-notch legal skills and become successful lawyers. We also believe being a student should be a positive and fun experience during which you develop important relationships both within and outside of the firm.

If this sounds like the type of environment that you would to start your career in,  we’d like to hear from you and to get to know you.

Our Students

Students at Whitelaw Twining play a big part in fostering our fun and challenging work environment. They inject energy, bring fresh perspectives, and enhance the collaborative spirit of the firm. Working with principals and mentors, they gain experience in all of our key practice areas—and we often end up learning a few valuable lessons along the way.
