Tawnie Snow

Profile

Tawnie joined Whitelaw Twining as an associate in 2025, following her call to the Alberta bar. She previously completed her articles with the organization that administers the professional liability indemnity program for Alberta lawyers.

Tawnie has assisted with matters and appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. She aims to deliver client-centred, practical solutions.

Tawnie received her J.D. from the University of Calgary in 2024. During law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, assisting members of the public with applications for Emergency Protection Orders. She also worked as a law student with the Law Society of Alberta, gaining valuable insight into the regulation of the legal profession. Before law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, graduating with distinction.

Outside of work, Tawnie enjoys reading, hiking in the mountains, and tending to her extensive houseplant collection. Originally from Ontario, she enjoys exploring all that Calgary has to offer with family and friends.
