Alexa Moretto

Profile

Alexa is a new member of Whitelaw Twining, developing a litigation practice in areas including construction and general insurance. She joins us from a large national firm in Vancouver and brings broad experience practicing civil and commercial litigation. Alexa has appeared on behalf of clients before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

In 2021, Alexa obtained her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, Alexa exercised her passion for advocacy and community engagement by volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada, and spending a term at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic where she provided legal services to members of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside community. Prior to law school, Alexa received her Bachelor of Arts with a major in English Literature from the University of British Columbia.

Outside of law, Alexa enjoys watching NFL football and reading novels.
