Profile

Debbie rejoined Whitelaw Twining as a paralegal in 2011 after taking a short hiatus to focus on her young family. She now works in the area of insurance defence litigation, concentrating mostly on bodily injury, property damage and subrogation files. Before transitioning into this role, Debbie was a legal administrative assistant at our firm for eight years.

Debbie is a driven, organized and passionate professional—she is key in moving our clients’ files forward. She is responsible for document production, gathering and analyzing evidence, client management, retaining and instructing experts, drafting pleadings and court applications, and preparing for trial.

Outside of work, Debbie dedicates her time to her husband and two daughters. On the weekends, she watches her kids’ soccer games and roots for them from the sidelines. She also stays fit running and yoga.
