Profile

Kaelyn began practicing at Whitelaw Twining as an Associate in 2024, after joining the firm as a Summer Student in 2022 and returning to complete her articles. She practices in general insurance litigation with an emphasis on personal injury defence and insurance coverage work. Kaelyn has appeared on behalf of clients before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

In 2023, Kaelyn obtained her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Throughout her time in law school, Kaelyn exercised her passion for advocacy and community engagement by volunteering with the Dalhousie Pro Bono Law program and spending a summer interning with Rise Women’s Legal Centre in their research department. In her third year, she spent a semester studying at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland where she had the opportunity to learn about legal issues from novel perspectives. Prior to law school, Kaelyn received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at the University of British Columbia.

In her free time, Kaelyn enjoys cooking for her friends and family, reading anything she can get her hands on, and listening to podcasts while getting her steps in.
