Profile

Kristine joined our team in 2017.  She practices general insurance litigation, primarily in personal injury defence.  Kristine’s strengths in leading cost-effective and diligent defence strategies include thorough analysis and attention to detail, multi-disciplinary evidence and opinion gathering, and effective use of team members and external resources.  Kristine endeavours to work towards settlement early and often, integrating various methods of engagement and leveraging defences through each stage of the litigation.  She enjoys working collaboratively with clients to find effective strategies and solutions.

Prior to her career as a lawyer, Kristine was an elite rower.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California – Berkeley, and the University of Michigan.  Kristine completed her law degree at the University of Alberta.  Born and raised on Vancouver Island, she has lived abroad, including in the United States, Poland and Germany, and has travelled extensively.  She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three active children.  Kristine is fluent in French.
