Melanie joined Whitelaw Twining in September of 2021.  Melanie has been working in the legal field for 30+ years and has gained a wide variety of experience and skills. The majority of her experience has been in litigation (general, construction, collections, personal injury) through all levels of Court, both plaintiff and defendant, with some real estate and  administrative law. She has been a member of the BC Paralegal Association since 2014 and has attended the annual Trial Lawyers Association’s Paralegal full day seminars in the past.

Melanie is an extremely conscientious and detailed orientated person. She loves to learn new technology and systems, anything that improves or makes a procedure more efficient, and to share what she has learned with others.  She is looking forward to supporting her legal team on files at every stage to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved.

On the weekends, Melanie enjoys going for walks and bike rides through her neighbourhood. And, when the border opens again, to spend time with family and friends at their recreational property in Washington state.
