Morgan Sterns

Profile

Morgan joined Whitelaw Twining as a summer student in 2017, and returned for her articles in 2018. Her litigation practice primarily involves professional liability defence with a focus on the real estate industry. She represents real estate agents in civil and disciplinary matters, and provides general advice. She also has a smaller practice with a focus on construction and employment matters.

Morgan enjoys the problem-solving aspect of her practice and has a keen interest in finding creative solutions. Her approach is marked with optimism and vigour, and she appreciates the fact she learns something new daily and enjoys taking on new challenges. Morgan has appeared on behalf of clients before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as before the Human Rights Tribunal and Employment Standards Branch.

Prior to embarking on her legal career, Morgan travelled extensively and was a freelance food and culture writer. In her free time, she loves gardening, spending time exploring the west coast with her husband and dog Franklin, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
