Tara Jackson
Paralegal/Construction Group Practice Manager
Profile
Tara joined our team as a paralegal in 2006. She works in general insurance with a focus on construction and bodily injury litigation. She is a strong problem solver and is particularly skilled at identifying and analyzing the key issues in each case. She supports the lawyers in her groups by obtaining and organizing all the information they need to resolve their often complex files. Tara thrives in team settings—she is inspired by the intelligent and encouraging lawyers and paralegals that she gets to collaborate with at Whitelaw Twining.
As a senior paralegal, Tara’s responsibilities include preparing documents required for court applications, drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients, witnesses and related parties. Tara is also responsible for organizing and quantifying parties’ records, damages and medical evidence.
Tara balances out her busy work schedule by practicing yoga in her downtime. She stays active by going to the gym several days a week and also enjoys activities such as biking, boating, and hiking.
