Valerie Finigan

Profile

Valerie joined Whitelaw Twining in 2024 and brings over 15 years of experience as both paralegal and legal assistant duties. She enjoys projects involving document management and organization, legal research, reviewing and producing documents and preparing for trials or questionings.

Valerie spends her time walking her dog and volunteering. She is the co-founder and director of The Great Bar Battle Society which supports access to justice organizations that provide free legal advice and/ or counsel to low income Calgarians. Since its inaugural event in 2016, the Society’s annual fundraiser, The Great Bar Band Battle has raised over $200,000 for Student Legal Assistance, Calgary Legal Guidance and Pro Bono Law Alberta.
