Nick is an associate at Whitelaw Twining with a continuously expanding litigation practice which includes complex bodily injury, property, and professional liability.

Prior to joining Whitelaw Twining, Nick was a senior associate at a prominent boutique civil litigation firm with a special focus on personal injury. Nick has handled hundreds of matters involving complicated issues pertaining to liability and damages. Nick’s experience has allowed him to develop a keen understanding of the issues that matter most in bodily injury claims. He is able to quickly identify and evaluate claims and has honed his ability to respond in a precise and effective manner. Nick ensures that his clients are provided with timely and economical solutions which pave the way to successful and expeditious results.

Nick holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University. He attended the University of Kent in Canterbury where he graduated with First Class Distinction and received several awards for mooting as well as the Hillier Prize for Academic Achievement in the Study of Tort Law. He has an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Nick has been recognized by Best Lawyers in their “Ones to Watch” category for two consecutive years. He has taken multiple cases to a successful verdict in both jury and non-jury actions and is now using that experience and expertise in his insurance defence practice.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys cycling, canoeing, and back-country camping. He is a licenced drone pilot and a long-suffering fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
