Ryan Mullins

Profile

Ryan joined Whitelaw Twining in 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in insurance defence litigation. His practice is primarily focused on bodily injury and commercial litigation. Ryan is called to the bar in both Ontario and Alberta, and he has successfully represented clients before the courts in both provinces. Prior to being called to the bar, Ryan articled at the Federal Court of Canada as a judicial law clerk.

Ryan understands that the best type of file for his clients is a closed file and directs all his efforts towards achieving that goal. He believes that the most efficient and effective advocacy involves frequent and open communication and developing good relationships with his clients and counsel.

Ryan was listed in the 2025 edition of the Best Lawyers in Canada for Insurance Law.

Outside of work, Ryan can often be found chauffeuring his children to soccer practices and games. In his downtime time, he enjoys reading science-fiction, playing chess on his phone, and going for walks with his wife and their dog.
