Alexandra Kulakova

Profile

Alex joined Whitelaw Twining as an Associate in 2023 after completing her articling term with the firm. Before joining our firm and getting called to the Bar, Alex spent over five years assisting legal teams in other reputable firms on various civil litigation matters. She now practices civil litigation, including insurance defence and personal injury law. Alex has appeared in matters before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.

Alex believes in client-centered approach, resolving legal matters practically and efficiently, while creating a positive experience and results for clients. She is known for her strong work ethic and level of detail in advocacy.

Prior to law, Alex was an avid pianist for over ten years, and she continues to balance her legal career with music. Outside of the office, she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
