Gavin Clark

Profile

Gavin first joined Whitelaw Twining in 2017 as a Summer Articling Student and was called to the Bar in 2019.  At the outset of his legal career, Gavin pursued a general insurance litigation practice, gaining experience in areas such as property losses, subrogation and recovery, and bodily injury.

In 2021, Gavin left the practice of law to become the President and Corporate Secretary of a Canadian tech company.  During his time in this role, he was responsible for the operational management of the company, including overseeing all departments, negotiating and securing strategic partnerships, maintaining the company’s finances, investor relations, and capital raises.

He returned to Whitelaw Twining in 2023 with the goal of combining the knowledge and skills he acquired in the business world with his legal experience.  He currently has an eclectic practice which includes the areas of corporate commercial, construction, subrogation and recovery, defamation, and regulatory matters.

Gavin is an avid skier and snowboarder.  Outside the office, you will find him enjoying the slopes at Whistler Blackcomb and exploring the beautiful hikes BC has to offer with his wife and dog, Franklin.
