Gordon joined Whitelaw Twining as an associate in 2020, with a background in insurance defence, professional liability, and construction litigation. Prior to joining Whitelaw Twining, Gordon practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Calgary. Gordon maintains a general insurance litigation practice, primarily consisting of construction, bodily injury, and professional liability matters. He has appeared on behalf of clients in the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and Provincial Court.
Gordon aims to achieve practical and cost-effective results for his clients. He is a proponent of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, and appreciates the value of timely resolution. Gordon enjoys collaborating with clients to develop unique strategies to achieve the most effective results.
During law school, Gordon volunteered at a Pro Bono civil litigation and criminal law clinic, and advocated for low income litigants in the Provincial Court of Alberta. Gordon continues to volunteer in the legal community whenever possible.
In his spare time, Gordon enjoys hockey, rugby, weightlifting and snowboarding, and spends as much time as possible in the Rocky Mountains.
