Gordon joined Whitelaw Twining as an associate in 2020, with a background in commercial, employment and construction litigation. Prior to joining Whitelaw Twining, Gordon practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Calgary. Gordon maintains a varied litigation and dispute resolution practice with an emphasis on commercial, construction, securities and collections disputes. He also has extensive experience advising and defending insurers in complex commercial coverage disputes.
Gordon aims to achieve practical and cost-effective results for his clients. He has experience participating in alternative forms of dispute resolution and enjoys working to achieve timely resolutions while recognizing his clients’ unique strategic objectives. Gordon regularly appears as counsel in the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and Provincial Court.
During law school, Gordon volunteered at a Pro Bono civil litigation and criminal law clinic and advocated for low income litigants in the Provincial Court of Alberta. Gordon continues to volunteer in the legal community whenever possible.
In his spare time, Gordon enjoys hockey, rugby, weightlifting and golf and can often be found spending time in the Rocky Mountains.
