Profile

Jahaan has a broad litigation practice which includes wide-ranging employment matters, insurance defence, and general commercial litigation. Jahaan has specific experience advising on complex contractual disputes, shareholder and director level disputes, judgment enforcement, and bodily injury defence. She has also advised on employment policies, terminations, the human rights process (from initial complaints to Tribunal hearings), and conducted workplace investigations. 

Jahaan has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. She aims to balance fervent advocacy, commercial interests, and empathy to resolve disputes in an effective manner.

Outside of work, Jahaan teaches yoga on a weekly basis around the Calgary community, rides horses in Okotoks, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
