Salona practices in the firm’s Injury and Insurance practice groups. She understands the importance of attention to detail, creative problem solving, and communication.

Salona has experience resolving issues through the court system and through alternative methods of dispute resolution, such as settlement conferences, mediations, and negotiations. Salona enjoys engaging in the analytical process of streamlining complex issues to provide the best outcome to her clients.

Salona works with clients in all stages of disputes to assess claims and defenses and mitigate risks. Salona is purposeful and is often able to resolve disputes by negotiation, but where that is not possible, she advocates passionately, boldly, but fairly on behalf of her clients. She has conducted several trials, appearing before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

Salona was born in South Africa, where she lived until she was 12 years old before moving to the Lower Mainland. When not helping clients, she enjoys playing with her pup, walking in the woods, lifting weights, and practicing yoga. She satiates her love for indulgence, flavour, and connection by visiting wineries and restaurants with her family and friends.
