Spencer Toffoli

Profile

Spencer has a civil litigation practice specializing in personal injury, employment and human rights, insurance coverage, and general insurance defence.  She has successfully appeared for clients at the BC Supreme Court, BC Provincial Court, and various administrative tribunals in BC, as well as at countless mediations and out of court negotiations.

Spencer is passionate about finding creative and practical legal solutions to achieve her clients aims.  She believes in remaining dogged in advancing her clients’ interests while simultaneously taking a common sense approach to resolving disputes.

She is proud to practice at Whitelaw’s Victoria office, enabling her to provide premium legal services to Vancouver Island clients, while continuing to practice across the province.  Community involvement is important to Spencer, and at present she is actively involved as a CBA Young Lawyers Victoria section executive, with Whitelaw’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, and regularly participates in fundraising for Covenant House Vancouver, the United Way, and other charities.

In her free time, Spencer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, skiing, and enjoying the beautiful Island outdoors.
