Profile

Stephanie joined Whitelaw Twining in 2024 as an associate. In 2017, she was called to the bar of New Brunswick and briefly practiced in French and English in New Brunswick on high conflict family law cases. Stephanie completed her JD in French at the Universite de Moncton, in Moncton, New Brunswick, and was an active member of the ProBono student’s association, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Moncton, and worked as a summer student for the Legal Aid Services Commission.

In 2018, she moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she began her career practicing insurance defence matters. Stephanie’s experience ranges anywhere from small minor injury claims to complex bodily injury claims. In addition, Stephanie has litigated on various issues pertaining to coverage, policy disputes, property damage, dog bites, subrogated claims, theft, fraud, multi-party accidents, fire, fatal accidents, occupier’s liability and more. Stephanie has represented numerous clients before the Court of King’s bench and Alberta Court of Justice, mediations and judicial dispute resolutions.

Stephanie leads a proactive litigation style by streamlining issues to produce viable solutions. She enjoys new challenges that litigation brings and is mindful of her clients’ needs and expectations. Stephanie also enjoys working collaboratively with clients and other counsel to resolve matters efficiently without compromising integrity.

Stephanie briefly practiced in British Columbia in 2023 before returning to Alberta. Today she is happy to call Calgary her new home.

When she is not in the office, she enjoys actively engaging with her fitness community, listening to live music and spending time with her family and dog outdoors.
