Alessia joined Whitelaw Twining as an associate in 2019 with a background in employment and family law. Currently, Alessia practices general insurance litigation, including subrogation, bodily injury and property damage. She has appeared in matters before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.
Alessia enjoys advocating on behalf of her clients and identifying practical goals for them. Alessia is a believer in alternative dispute resolution and understands the value of efficient and timely outcomes for her clients.
Alessia is passionate about volunteering and supporting several organizations. Before law school, Alessia enjoyed volunteering at animal rescue shelters and while in law school Alessia was part of the Animal Law Association, advocating for the rights of our four-legged friends. She also helped organize and contribute to several fundraising events for various organizations.
Outside of work, Alessia enjoys travelling, exploring new restaurants and spending time with her family and friends.
