Bao is a rising talent in litigation, with a growing focus on commercial, construction and multi-jurisdictional disputes, as well as commercial coverage and surety work. A former researcher of cardiovascular disease prevention in astronauts, Bao has particular interest in the evolving regulatory landscapes and legal complexities of the pharmacological, biotechnology and healthcare industries.
Traditionally regarded as disharmonious fields, Bao sees a fundamental compatibility between science and law. A technically-minded problem solver, Bao relies on both disciplines and takes a dissective and systematic approach to navigating his clients through legal challenges, allowing him to identify previously unforeseen risk and devise multifaceted mitigation strategies and solutions.
Outside of his legal practice, Bao takes advantage of all seasonal offerings of the magnificent Pacific Northwest. A fervent cyclist in the warmer months and a skier in the winter, Bao subscribes to the adage of, “healthy body, healthy mind”. When not out and about, Bao is an enthusiastic spectator of competitive weightlifting.
