Emily practices in the area of corporate commercial litigation and has represented clients in the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Prior to joining Whitelaw Twining as an associate, Emily articled at an international law firm and clerked for five judges at the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
While in law school, Emily volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, held an elected position with the TRU Society of Law Students, participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and worked as a student editor for the Canadian Journal of Contemporary and Comparative Law. Emily achieved Dean’s List standing and was awarded the Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP Prize in Property Law and the Dean’s Course Prize in International Law for achieving the highest grade in the course.
Outside of the office, Emily loves spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants and planning her next trip.
