Profile

Nabeel maintains a broad civil litigation practice, assisting his clients in property and construction litigation, contractual disputes, insurance defence, and subrogation.  He regularly acts for a wide array of clients including developers, general contractors, trades, property owners, manufacturers, property management firms, and strata corporations.  Nabeel has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia as well as various administrative tribunals.

Nabeel is the subrogation practice group leader at Whitelaw Twining.  His strengths in advocacy emanate from his practical and cost-effective solutions, clear communication style, and relentless determination to achieve results for his clients.  Nabeel routinely represents clients in complex multi-party disputes and is a proponent of settlement and alternative dispute resolution whenever possible.  He is proficient in Farsi and able to advise his clients in both English and Farsi.

In his spare time, Nabeel stays involved in the community by regularly volunteering in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and with Access Pro Bono.  He likes to stay active and spends time with family and friends when he’s not at work.
