Nesta joined Whitelaw Twining as a summer student in 2020. She returned for her articles in 2021 and was called to the Bar in 2022. She primarily practices in the area of professional liability and employment, while also developing a practice in general insurance litigation. She has represented her clients before the Provincial and Supreme Courts in British Columbia. Nesta is known for her strong work ethic and level of detail in advocating for her clients. Nesta’s diverse educational and professional background allows her to solve complex legal issues while balancing her clients’ various business needs.
Prior to attending law school, Nesta worked at a boutique immigration law firm in Vancouver, assisting clients with the intricate processes of Canadian immigration. Throughout law school, she actively volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Regional Animal Protection Society.
As a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Whitelaw Twining, Nesta is passionate about promoting diversity in the legal discipline and works actively with the firm to create actionable changes both internally and within the community.
In her spare time, Nesta enjoys endurance running, traveling, and baking. On weekends, you will find Nesta either zooming around Vancouver in her running vest or seeking out various new restaurants in town.
