Philip Cho

Profile

Philip practices primarily in the area of construction, class actions and professional liability, while also developing a practice in cyber and privacy matters. Philip is a passionate advocate who prides himself in efficiently problem solving complex legal issues and delivering the best possible outcome for his clients.

Called to both the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Ontario, Philip has represented his clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, as well as Ontario’s Small Claims Court and Superior Court of Justice.

While studying law, Philip was an active member of the student community. He was a member of the Business Law Clinic, the Pan-Asian Law Society, the law school softball team and an editor of the school’s peer reviewed law journal Appeals: Review of Current Law and Law Reform. At Whitelaw Twining, Philip is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and is proud to be part of a firm actively promoting diversity within the legal discipline.

In his spare time, Philip enjoys spontaneous travel and reading the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky. He is also an avid supporter of Manchester United, the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
