Profile

Sahar is developing a broad insurance litigation practice, including bodily injury, professional liability, construction, and coverage. Prior to joining Whitelaw Twining, she worked as Claims Counsel for a global legal and insurance firm, focusing primarily on insurance coverage and conducting investigations for various insurance claims, including legal expenses, professional liability, commercial and general liability, and directors’ and officers’ liability.

Before being called to the bar in 2021, Sahar graduated from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. At Queen’s, she strengthened her advocacy skills by serving as a student caseworker at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic. Prior to law school, Sahar received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Political Science.

In her spare time, Sahar enjoys exploring new culinary delights, live music, true crime documentaries and traveling. She is also passionate about engaging in meaningful volunteer work within her community.
