Jill Wiberg

Profile

Jill joined Whitelaw Twining in 2021 as a summer student and returned for her articles in 2022. She has a general practice with a growing interest in subrogation, commercial litigation, employment law, and sports law. Jill is a passionate advocate and prides herself in problem-solving complex legal issues for her clients.  She has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jill obtained an Education degree from the University of Alberta. In 2022, she received her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University. While attending law school, Jill received the course prize in Advanced Advocacy for achieving the highest grade in the course. Jill enjoys working in collaborative environments. She participated in several negotiations and moots, including the national Wilson moot.

Jill finds passion in working within her community. As a trained National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) coach in gymnastics, Jill has been actively involved with coaching children and creating youth sports programming.

Jill is always on the move outside of the office, not one to stay still for long. She enjoys spending time on the golf course perfecting her swing, skiing the slopes, attending spin class and travelling to new places.
